Creating compelling web content has been a consistent element of business success on the Internet. Significant changes by Google that began in 2012 placed even more emphasis on quality website content for successful SEO efforts.
In reality the benefits of well written, engaging, informative content within websites, social media and email marketing go well beyond ranking in the search engines and drawing traffic to a website. Quality content is also a strong factor in defining a business’ brand, and establishing a sense of trust and authority with a visitor, with a goal of that visitor becoming a repeat visitor and a customer.

The value of quality content and content marketing will continue to grow in 2014. Some of this emphasis has been driven by Google and various algorithmic changes over the last 18-24 months. However, there is actually a broader factor driving the need for quality content: providing value and an engaging user experience for website visitor.
Content needs to be well written, interesting and engaging. If a page has only one or two sentences, is poorly written, or doesn’t provide useful information, a visitor is not likely to spend much time on the page.
The use and production of Infographics has skyrocketed in the last couple years. When done effectively they are a great tool for communicating information.
